Our Initiatives
Building Connections
MAG began as an informal initiative during Singapore’s COVID-19 lockdown, driven by a desire to support migrant workers in need. Volunteers stepped up to deliver essentials — from fruits and noodles to medicines and coffee — to workers in quarantine and those living outside the dormitories.

During Ramadan, hundreds of kilograms of dates were distributed to support those observing the fast. The care didn’t stop there; efforts continued throughout the year with Sunday meals and celebrations on public holidays, offering moments of comfort and connection.

Milestone Drives That Built Our Foundation
August 2020 marked our first major campaign — Happy Feet, a sneaker drive that saw the distribution of over 250 pairs of branded , new sneakers. For most this was the first time ever of receiving a pair of branded sneakers. We then organized our second happy feet drive in 2022.
During Diwali and Christmas, we organized festive cupcake drives, rallying home bakers across Singapore to bring joy to hundreds of migrant workers across the island. These heartfelt efforts gained recognition on national radio and became a defining expression of MAG’s community spirit.
Growing Reach
2021 marked the official birth of MAG. We became a registered organization with the Singapore authorities in February of that year. Our first official initiative was the Hari Raya Biryani Drive, through which we delivered 1,880 meals across seven construction sites. As the year unfolded, we continued responding to calls for help — providing essentials, personal hygiene kits, and snacks to worksites in need. Our approach remained simple and consistent: to support however and whenever we were needed.

Building Partnerships for Greater Impact
MAG partnered with Stamford American School’s PTA and P&G to deliver 700 care packs during Christmas. We also received support from corporates like Amazon, Fidelity, and Capital Group, who donated phone chargers, caps, lunchboxes, and hygiene products. Local business Madam Ling regularly contributes cookies and snacks for our festival drives, sustaining our outreach with kindness.
Acts of Caring
In 2023, MAG brought moments of joy and care to migrant workers in meaningful ways. We organized a special outing to Universal Studios Singapore for 50 workers — offering them a rare day of fun, freedom, and relaxation. For Hari Raya, we partnered with the Central Sikh Gurudwara to distribute over 1,200 freshly prepared festive meals. Beyond large-scale initiatives, we also supported individual needs — funding accident insurance premiums and fulfilling personal requests, such as sending an air cooler to a worker’s family in rural India to celebrate the birth of his child.
