Who We Are

In March 2020, as the world grappled with the harsh reality of COVID-19, what began as a chance connection among strangers from vastly different backgrounds felt nothing short of a cosmic intervention. United around a single, unwavering goal: to give back to the community in a time of unprecedented crisis.

It quickly became clear that one of the most urgent needs lay within Singapore’s migrant worker community. The pandemic had exposed deep vulnerabilities—necessitating immediate, multi-layered support to protect the well-being of thousands.

Our goals were modest but realistic. We knew every effort, no matter how small, could make a difference—though it often felt like no amount was truly enough. What we could promise ourselves, however, was to show up—every single day—with one simple pledge: to bring relief and hope, one smile at a time.

Five years on, our mission continues with greater clarity. What began as a crisis response has become a lasting commitment to serve those in deeper need—with the same unwavering desire to look beyond ourselves.

Why Migrant Workers?

We’re often asked, “Why focus on migrant workers when so many organizations are already supporting them?” Our response is simple: the need is still far greater than the support available.

Singapore is home to over 1 million migrant workers — our efforts are just a drop in the ocean. While the pandemic affected all of us, migrant workers have been among the most deeply impacted. Far from home and family, facing constant uncertainty, many experienced rising levels of anxiety and isolation.

We believe that if we can offer even a small measure of comfort — something that helps them feel seen, supported, and a little less alone — then our work has real meaning.
